Foot & Ankle Care Shaped by Life in Aventura
Aventura’s three-mile Country Club walking circuit may be the busiest loop in South Florida, and its walkers are the heart of our Aventura practice — alongside a large community of retirees managing the foot health that independence depends on. Two topics dominate.
Keeping the Circle Walkers Walking
Walk the Aventura circle daily and your feet absorb over a thousand miles a year — wonderful for the heart, demanding on the plantar fascia, Achilles tendon, and forefoot. The pattern we see: pain begins as a morning nuisance, walkers push through it (this crowd does not skip their walk), and by the time they come in it’s constant. Our job is fixing it without stopping the routine — usually achievable through footwear correction, targeted stretching, and custom molded orthotics designed from video gait analysis to correct the specific mechanics wearing you down. For flat feet and structural issues, the right orthotic is often transformative.
Foot Health as Independence: Diabetic and Senior Care
For Aventura’s large retiree community, foot problems are mobility problems, and mobility is independence. We provide comprehensive diabetic foot care — screening exams, Medicare-covered diabetic shoes and insoles for qualifying patients, and prompt wound care — alongside management of arthritis, neuropathy, and burning pain from thinning fat pads. Many of our Aventura patients have been with us for years precisely because consistent foot care is what keeps the daily walk, the errands, and the travel going.

Frequently Asked Questions from Aventura Patients
How long does it take to reach your office from Aventura?
Usually 5–10 minutes, even from Aventura Mall: Biscayne Boulevard (US-1) north, right on Hallandale Beach Boulevard, and the office is at 1250 E Hallandale Beach Blvd with convenient building parking.
Does Medicare really cover diabetic shoes?
Yes — Medicare covers one pair of therapeutic shoes and inserts per year for diabetics who meet clinical criteria, which we evaluate and document as part of your diabetic foot exam. Many Aventura patients qualify without realizing it.
I walk the circle every day. Will you tell me to stop walking?
Almost never — and we know you wouldn’t listen anyway. Our goal is the opposite: identify why walking hurts and fix the mechanics so you can keep your routine for decades. Temporary modifications sometimes, permanent retirement essentially never.
